[vpFREE] Re: Annoying reservation system at Caesars

If you are 7 stars, just have your host make your reservation.
Easy as a phone call or email.

You tell them, but this isn't enough for them, now you must give them your date of birth and phone number to PROVE it is really you. Or sometimes your city too. WHY!!!!!??? Is some stranger going to call in with your name and card number to falsely make a reservation in your name? Why would they? And even if they did, they couldn't actually check into the hotel without giving your credit card and probably your photo ID too.

Then to add insult to injury, though you are a 7 star and calling with an offer code for 3 free nights, the clerk must repeat at least three times that your room is complimentary and must tell you all about check in procedures and requirements for having a credit card or deposit when u check in, etc etc, and even though you say you don't need this information repeated, the clerk says he MUST give it to you. And of course, despite the three times assured complimentary status of the room, he asks to ask if it is okay to use the credit card they have on file (or give them another), because somehow they just have to have a deposit for that oh so free room.
