So let me pose a question/counterpoint of my own.

Assuming someone is a so-called recreational player. If that player is only interested in surviving, having some fun, and taking a shot in the SHORT TERM, then if 9-6 JoB is the type of game this player enjoys playing, does it really matter if the casino offers 9-5 JoB instead? Or 8-6 Bonus Poker Deluxe? Or any game in the 98.5 to 98.9 range? Doesn't a game like that basically provide the same kind of thrill for the short term player that a full pay 9-6 JoB would offer? And with basically the same chance of hitting a royal in that short term?

And if the player likes NSU at 99.73%, then wouldn't he also like PNSU at 98.9% just as well? Or isn't a 9-6 DDB 98.9 just as good as a 10-6 DDB?

So if a player is only interested in recreational play in the short term, that player shouldn't be disappointed if the best machines the casino offers are in fact in that 98.5-98.9 range. And in that case, why ask the casino to bring back full pay schedules like the old days? The old days are gone. I think it is unrealistic to EXPECT the casinos to continue putting out machines that don't make much money for them. But in my opinion there will ALWAYS be plenty of 98.5-98.9 games available for the recreational player. So everyone should be happy.
