The only advantage I know at Venetian is if you are at Harrahs Diamond
level or higher. If that is your status the V will automatically enroll
you as Club Grazie Gold which gives you a higher point earning rate and
entrance to the private lounge inside the V High Limit area.
Anyone can get FreePlay at the Venetian by redeeming points already
earned. But, if you are new, they do give you a one-time welcome gift
after minimal play. You can choose slot credits, but I recall instead
taking a comp for $40 or so to the Food Court. For more play they also
offer two "gifts of the month", which curremtly are an organizer (it's
rather large, almost the size of a phone book) and a lightweight hooded
zip-up jacket
