OK, it was on a very short pay 5c (5 coin) machine but it was my
first. The bar at the Oneida Casino in Green Bay has nickel VP. I
knew it was short pay, but it allowed me to practice in a real
environment and there's not much else to do at night around there.
I was dealt a 10h and 10-K spades on a DW game. I remember thinking,
ok toss the 10h and maybe I'll get a two - never even thought about
the Ace. When the AS popped up, I sat their in disbelief and told the
bartender, "Hey, I think I got a royal." Quickly cashed out and left.
My work brings me here about three times a year and I stay at the
Radisson attached to the casino. Last time, I won $1000 on the penny
video blazing sevens.
Just want to thank all on the board - I've learned so much about the
game and I enjoy reading all the posts. I remember when I first
started playing, I thought VP was just like a slot machine. Now I know
better.
