Redeeming a postcard or e-mail offer, including free Megabucks pulls, and
collecting free play counts as a trip. The postcard has a barcode which is
scanned into the system, and your card number is entered for the printed-out
e-mail.
Swiping your card for a promo or drawing (at the food court) does not,
surprisingly, count as a trip. Neither does redeeming points, either by getting a
comp from the club, or having them swipe your card at the retail outlet.
Inserting your card into a machine to check your points does not, as long as the
machine does not have money in it when you do so.

So what things count and don't count as a trip at the palms? i.e. swiping
for contests, gifts, food, etc.
Thanks!
