To continue the story ... The Fiestas have sent out a mailer that
indicates they will be allowing 600 amigo points to be exchanged for
$1 in free play. I believe amigo points are new points earned
starting very soon (1/25?). I have no idea what will happen to the
old points and whether they can be converted to amigo points. Anyone
else know anything more about this program?

Obviously, as mentioned above, the close link between Stations and
Fiestas player's clubs is fading.
