This is such a good question with such a complicated answer, I've decided to make it an on-air topic for the radio show.
Just to paraphrase. You have two diametrically opposed forces working against each other.
1. How to get the best return from your free-play today.
2. How to continue getting the most amount of free-play in the future.
...and all the while trying not get break casino rules (written and implied) and maintain your good standing.
For some, this means getting away with as much as the market will bare.
For others, this means playing it safe and always giving the casino some good faith action.
There are arguments for both strategies. I'm sure others will chime in on what they do. Offering my own methodology would not answer the question for you, since I'm a non-standard case.

Or, do you just play the minimum number of hands until you can cash out?? (i.e., take the money and run.)
