i played the promo today, and i also received a confusing description
of it from the boothling, similar to what you described. she made it
sound like you had to do some kind of complicated tracking of results
- i believe she used the word "math" - rather than simply having a net
loss of $100 on the day.
my best guess is that they had problems with people putting in $100,
cashing out $150, moving to another machine, putting in $100 and
losing it, and thinking they were entitled to a $100 rebate. and they
are doing a poor job of "clarifying" that this isn't how it works.
i simplified matters by playing two $50 hands and losing them both,
thus qualifying me for the full rebate under any possible
interpretation. :)
