I'm heading to Fremont this weekend for VP tourn. I've been doing this
for a coupla years & generally stay w/ RFB. I haven't received any
future offers for VP tourn., just slots. Anyone know if they've quit
the VP tournaments or maybe I just won't get their offers anymore??? I
got 2nd last time there & won a fair am't on other VP( for a 25c'er,
that is...I don't think I'm going to hurt Boyd's bottom l;ine for 07.
I've talked to another vpFREE memeber that won this a year or so ago &
no longer gets offers either.
Another subject...VP is even getting tuffer in the midwest. I play
about 10 hours/week at Isle of Capri, 25c DDB progressive. I had a
fairly good 07, but again, I don't think they're going to shut the
doors on my acc't. I was getting $65 BB. Several months ago, this
became $30 BB, but w/ 1 free buffet(used to be 2). Just got my latest
mailing...w/ $10 & no buffet. Looks like Ia. is going smokeless, but
casinos not included. For an extra 10 minute drive, I can get to Ill.
and NO SMOKE, w/ good Bonus or DB, I don't remember which.
