Well my Uncle died at age 53 from an unstoppable nose bleed while in
a drunken stupor. Why was it unstoppable? No liver left. He
drank 13 bottles of Drewrys a day minimum (baker's dozen at the local
party store) and basically remained sober. It was the week long
benders that would knock him silly, until he was nearly starving to
death from not eating. Then he would sober up and get something to
eat.

He smoked also, but that was the least of his problems. Always
figured he would burn himself up, but somehow he managed to put out
his cigarette before he would fall asleep.

Quite sad!
