Using the explanation of AARP informed me about CDC warning that "older people and those with underlying chronic conditions should avoid nonessential travel" works.

There is no such thing as luck. There is only adequate or inadequate preparation to cope with a statistical universe. -Robert Heinlein
There is a point at which extra precautions just don't make sense. If you are over age 60 and have underlying health problems (especially respiratory), you probably should avoid going out of your house for the next year or so until a corona virus vaccination is available! For everyone, I would say avoid going on a trip including a cruise where you might end up being quarantined (even though you do not have Covid19). Otherwise, take common sense precautions — avoid large gatherings, avoid people who might cough or sneeze on you, if you get symptoms such as dry cough or fever stay home and PHONE doctor or hospital before going if symptoms become worse, wash hands (lather them up) for 20 or more seconds. In casino wipe down machine with a virus killing wipe such as Clorox wipes and possibly wear gloves. Avoid touching face or mouth or eyes in between times where you have just washed up. Open doors, touch handles or railings, etc. in casino or stores with gloves or paper towel. And so on. Basically should you get the virus, chances are you will get over it unless you are elderly with underlying health conditions where you might not, but if you get it you don't want to spread it to others.
