Re: the speed claims below -- I assume one of two things is true: (1) these are 3-play and/or higher machines or the speed statements reflect two (or more) side-by-side machines being played (or both), or (2) the statements are "I can play between 3 hands an hour and 4000 hands an hour" and "I can only play between four hands an hour and five thousand hands an hour" - making a very large range within which I also fall (as does most everyone else, I expect).
On the machines I've played on that are single-line, if you use NO strategy but just draw five cards every time by repeatedly hitting the "deal" button to deal a hand and then draw to it, the machine is not capable of that many hands per hour; the machine will NOT allow "deal" to be hit, deal a hand, and allow "deal" to be hit again to draw at a rate of one hand per second. Three thousand hands an hour is 50 hands per minute; five thousand hands an hour is 83 hands per minute; both are in the range of one hand per second or faster. Perhaps some machines at other facilities are faster?
If the players are claiming they can play at those rates on a single machine with single-line play, I am both amazed and skeptical. If not, I'd be curious what their speed IS on a single machine with single-line play.

Bob Dancer will agree.
I do agree. I can't play as fast as Brad. I can only play between four and five thousand hands per hour.
