We saw the extremely enjoyable Phat Pack show at the Plaza today. It is held at 5 p.m. wednesday-Sunday. Three excellent male singers who previously appeared in Phantom of the Opera in Vegas, and in many other Broadway shows, sing a number of Broadway and other songs, accompanied on piano by the excellent pianist who currently plays piano for Jersey Boys. I love Broadway shows, and I really enjoyed this one. The performers also make the show more intimate than usual by telling a bit about their careers and how they got into show business, which I found interesting. Look for discount tickets at the 1/2 price ticket booth, or other sources. I was expecting some rat pack influenced songs, from the show's title, but it is totally different, and has nothing to do with Frank, Dean, and Sammy. But if you like good singing and Broadway music you'll enjoy this one.
