Between promotions (free rooms for tournaments, etc.) and comps we paid for one week. Oh yes, we were in the RV park in our motorhome but the offers were for hotel rooms as well. For 8 days (two 4-day periods) we enjoyed food via gold card. The rest of the time food was by slot points -- purchased zero meals. We did have some left over Total Rewards points so had a few meals at CE properties.
We play mostly dollar single line VP but I hit the 3-play quarter progressives once in a while (hit one royal there for $1500). Lucky Lucy hit a 50 cent progressive for $2600. That was about it. Our bankroll took a pretty good hit this time. LL was in a loosing streak from hell.
We were there last winter for 6 weeks, same song. When we left in March we had Emerald status with green cards. Ten months later were back and had to start all over with red cards. Seems to me the tier status should last at least a year. We did hit Emerald status again, but just before we left.
What did we do for a month? Why play video poker of course. ;-)
We did catch the Sam's Town shuttle bus to the strip several times and likewise to downtown. Always things to do and see in Las Vegas.
