[vpFREE] Re:Re: New Game Suggestion for FrankNBobs

A belated .02 on this topic being thrown in by me....

First off, I don't understand why there is any criticism of the
progressives at the M. If you think the base game payscales are so bad as to be
unacceptable, don't play them. The jackpots seem to make the games desirable
for people who go for progressives, so what's not to like. I think it's
particularly odd that anyone in a group like this would be critical or
question the motives of a couple of individuals who have enough clout to get a
casino to make a move in the direction of more positive games.

Second, doesn't anybody ever want to play Pick 'Em? I'd prefer to play
short pay Pick 'Em over 7-5 Bonus Poker. And Pick 'Em is no more "boring"
and plain old JB. (Because the Pick 'Em Royal starts out higher than
"regular" VP games...and is statistically rarer...I could see a progressive Royal
getting up to truly notable levels in a situation like they've set up at
the M.)

Finally, I agree with the poster who mentioned that "Ploppies" won't play
games they're not familiar with. No matter how high a progressive got, I'd
never sit down and put any play into any of the "Joker" type machines that
I had little or no clue about the strategy for.

My last trip down to Las Vegas, I didn't have time to get out to the M, but
the next time I'm in that part of the state, I'll definitely try to get
out there and take a shot.
