As others have said, you shouldn't need your SS card on you to get
paid for a jackpot. In my experience the only extra step this may
cause is that, in addition to the W2G, some places may ask you to fill
out a form W9, which is just a simple IRS form where you certify that
your SSN is what you say it is (it's a CYA for the casino). In
particularly annoying cases the casino policy may require a W9 with
every W2G even though they're all going to be the same.
