You never need to carry your Social Security card with you. It says right on
it that it is not valid ID and should be kept in a safe place.

I was watching ABC's Morning Show and they had a segment about what to carry
in you wallet.
I've always been told to have your Social Security Card for a big win and
have always had it available. We have hit five digit jackpots without any
problem by using the Social Security Card. With more and more discussions
about Identity Thief, is it still a good Idea to carry the card with you.
Our State doesn't have a SSN on the Drivers License and I certainly don't
want any problems collecting a large jackpot, hitting them is hard enough.
Any comments?
