We are taking a road trip to IN and PA, leaving next week, and thought we would use free 7* rooms on a one or two night stop-over rest in Council Bluffs. I didn't realize that there were two casinos there - Harrah's CB and Horseshoe CB. Since we have never been there, I would appreciate any input as to which one we should choose. Nicer rooms? Better VIP lounges, with better choice of "real" food? Not interested in gourmet restaurants - buffet choices?
Is vpFREE2 up to date? I see that Harrah's has the higher EV VP choice although we probably won't be playing much.
Brad used to like to watch the dogs race in Florida. Is the Shoe right at the Greyhound track.
We are traveling I-80 and going to Hammond Horseshoe when we leave CB. Which one is nearest I-80 or is there not a big difference?
Any other factors we should consider? TIA for any helpful info.
