You just said it in your post. Who the hell wants to wait 3-4 million hands to see a difference. Most people here are rec players and may never get to that many hands in their career. Any non pro doesn't want to be down 40000 coins. Lets say some people here played a million hands, on quarter poker, a year, for 3 years, perfectly, with about 1.25% advantage. This would only be a little over $45k or so in profit if you had a proper mathematical curve. That is a big if. Rec players dont want to worry about Risk of Ruin they want to have a good time and a good shot. Some people here act as if this board is a poker pro only hangout and that is definitely not the only audience here.

Go ahead and set up WinPoker, and then run a million hands, and watch what happens. And then do it again, and again, and again. You will see that going DOWN 40,000 coins is not that difficult to do. But guess what, at the end of 3 or 4 million hands, you're probably going to be sitting pretty with a very healthy profit. And that's the way it works. There is no way to get around it.
