Exactly. I liked staying at Caesars and Paris was OK, but not a big fan of Harrah's, Flamingo or Bally's. And I just felt like the customer service in general went way downhill at those casinos - things like cutting back/closing the Diamond lounges. Having so many other locations (some with decent VP!) around the country is a plus, but realistically I never get to vist those anyway. So I'm not too interested in rekindling my relationship with Harrah's at this point.
Thanks Mike for the info on MGM. Do you (or anyone else) know if the room comp "credit" you earn is pretty much good for all of their casinos or only where you play? Like at harrah's, at least when it came to rooms, I could get free rooms just about anywhere based on my play at 1 or 2 casinos. Just wondering if I can play at any MGM casino to try to get some offers to all of them, or whether I need to play where I want to stay.

If you are willing to pay over $100 a night, for a room, you could play a little at Harrahs, lose less than the price of that "free" room. Of course there is always the possibility you could get lucky at 7/5 bonus poker. It has been known to happen.
