Unfortunately, in real life cheating goes on all the time. You may not always be aware of it, but it is in your own interest to educate yourself. Where there is competion there is cheating. If you want to participate you should have a strategy for dealing with the type of cheating that you expect to encounter.

Casinos almost always have the advantage so why would they cheat when there is a big possible negative outcome if they get caught. But we know that sometimes they do even when the risk reward ratio indicates it is a stupid move.
