I recently reported that I had 5 bad financial trips to Vegas in a row. Got home Thurs. fm 4 nites downtown & had my second best ever. About 4K up w/ 2 Royals, one dealt. Interesting fact (To me @ least). Been playing VP about 10 hr/wk for about 9 years. I figure about 5% of my play in # of hands is in Vegas. I've had 4 dealt royals in that time w/ 3 @ 4Q's & all 4 in Vegas.
Let it up to me to find negatives in a good thing. 1st royal was about $1010 progressive...2 hours earlier, it had been $1450. I told the bartender not to let anyone hit it while I took a nap, remind me not to trust him anymore. The second was the dealt. At home I play almost exclusively 10 hand 25c QQ. Since I figure I'm behind in Dealt royal cycle, I've been waiting for the $10K hit. Nope, it's gotta happen on single line - Damn.
I got caught up on my VPFree after getting back. Pretty interesting threads going on. Being retired, I'm one who usually opens & peruses most msg's. The discussion on long entries & hands-per-hour were interesting...that's all I'll say bout that. Frank K & mick...U certainly make this place jump a little. Haven't taken the time yet to get ur book or listen to broadcasts, but plan to do both.
Planning my next trip this week...gonna take me ole 80 year momma on one last fling 4 her b'day. She luvs that place.
