Class II (pre-determined results) and Class III (same as LV) are
designations used in Indian Casino compacts. CT casinos use the same product
as LV except usually worse pay tables.

Hi. I hope someone clears up this damn video lottery /class three mess once
and for all.Kelso says they may or may not be random.Joel says they are
identical. I think the original query was: Are Vlt and class three machines
the same as the random play video poker machines in Vegas. A simple yes or
no answer should suffice. This question has been bouncing around for a
couple years now Bill Coleman where are you?? Harry Porter we need your
 clear cut guidance!!
 Thanks
 R McK.

Video lottery terminals may be a random draw or not; it depends upon the
jurisdiction. (Most VLTs are a random draw though.)

If not a random draw; there will be indications on the machine that will
become apparent in a few hands, such as a sign on the machine that says
cards seen are for display purposes only (or something like this), you can
drill down to the help menu and read what it says, the appearance of the
genie which will change cards on the redraw or the match card feature.
