If it was me, I would have not waited at all. It would have been
nice if the Stratosphere had honored the ticket, but if it has a time
limitation in print, then they are under no obligation to honor it.
Then again, I don't have $1000 handy to place sports bets. I guess I
could also apply that line of reasoning to my Visa bill as well.
