Try running the classic version of OpVP. Yes, it will run on most OS
X systems, and if it does it seems to be better than the OS X
version. and it does show the progress thermometer. There seems to be
something strange going on with my compiler (REALbasic Pro 4.5). If
anyone out there can figure out why, please send a private e-mail to
me.
Any while I'm at it, thanks to all you Windows users for your
patience. The problem turned out to be some incompatibility between
Stuffit 12 used to compress a Zip file and the Zip expander that's
built in to Windows XP. You end up with several extra files with
filenames beginning with "._" (a period and an underscore). Simply
deleting those files seems to cure the problem. The second version I
sent out was Zipped on a Windows XP system, so it should expand
without problems. Again, if any Windows guru out there knows what is
happening, please send a private e-mail.
Thanks,
Dan
