Not to defend anyone inappropriately, but I'd be interested to know if indeed it's the government saying that 5-handed poker is ok.

I'd say this one is the sicko need of casinos to still have revenue and of professional poker players to do their daily grinding.  Misplaced priorities.

I have a twice a year trip planned to Vegas in early April, we were planning half of it at Bellagio to see Jerry Sienfield, but the B is closing for now. 

The trip is really up in the air on if we decide to go or not (I'm 55, wife is 49).

I go for poker (Texas hold'em) and make points playing VP.
