I was thinking the same think. We live in Kansas and only get to Vegas once or twice a year. We only made it once this year (Aug1-6). My wife and I managed to reach Sapphire level in two days and accumulate 27,000 points on my card. This was playing the triple nickels at The Orleans and the five play nickels at Gold Coast (both short pay). I checked today and those 27k converted to 900 points so we maintain Sapphire.
I just saw another person post that their 27,000 converted to less than 100 tier points. Very interesting to say the least. There has to be many factors in their new algorithms. I'm very curious now.....
