You can do much better at Gold Coast than 0.3%. The 0.3% is available 24/7 for Emerald players. There are usually 5x point days and sometimes 7x point days available several times a month, limited to $10K each day. Sometimes you have to be a senior to get multipliers. Sometimes you have to qualify for a mailer to get multipliers.
If you play 'heavily,' there is some equity in the drawings if you show up for them. The mailers add a bit. Adding this all up, the slot club is actually closer to 0.6% rather than 0.3%. Now the bankroll required is "only" $144K rather than $560K. While still substantial, it's less than 30% of what you were estimating before.
Since you're effectively limited to $10K per day if you want the slot club to average 0.6%, playing $1 instead of $2 costs you an extra hour each time you go it, but it reduces the bankroll required to $127K.
