Why did you fill out an accident report? If you needed a ride to the airport, pay a few bucks for a cab or bribe a different rental car bus driver. No good can come out of signing that doc. If they cant show you the vehicle, screw them. As for court, you are the defendant, with all the rights. You could schedule and cancel at least a couple times. Also filing a frivilous lawsuit claim against them should make them reconsider. Maybe even fing a false claim if the photo was taken months after the fact. I know it is tough in the heat of battle but i think you gave up too easily. Surprised they didn't start with the bs loss of use argument.
