Hedy and I made a quick visit to Revel yesterday afternoon and this is what
we observed.
-- The casino floor was fairly busy, not really crowded, but not like
the ghost town it appeared to be on our last visit a few months ago.
-- The slot club person we dealt with was very courteous and handled all
our requests quickly and efficiently. We showed him an offer we had from
Harrah's for that day and he downloaded a similar amount of free play in our
accounts with no problem, even though we didn't have the complete mailer. All
we needed to do was show him picture ID.
-- Checking in was quick and easy and we were able to apply a $50 food
credit to our account.
-- We played two machines with 9/5 DDB progressive at the 50-cent level and
wound up losing our free play plus another $80.
We leave on a seven-day cruise today on the NCL Gem and will be back at
Revel next week to redeem some more free play offers.
