Every Stations casino is slightly different in their comp policy(leniency)Your host did tell you the truth about a separate comp account, Ive seen the screen. Its host only access and is a bank of earned comps based on total play for a given period(monthly, quarterly.) Some stations are moving away from using this account and are forcing you to use points first and then they will see "what they can do for you." At one time you could you could pretty much get everything comped, if you had decent play, and not touch your point balance. Some hosts now have a "points only" attitude for comps. Playing only positive VP will surely kill your comp balance at the Stations. I mostly play the 99.8% and full pay machines and my mailers and comps are crap. Before the new policies went into effect it was no problem to get a $150 dinner comp. Now its just a waste of time arguing with them. On the other hand if you're still a big loser on these machines they will cut you some slack.
