There are two separate banks. You can easily
access the one for points through the ATM style
machines and get cash back, etc.
The other bank contains recognition/tier points.
You can access this one also, but the ATM
machines have no printers so you can't print
restaurant comps. You can go to the booth and
they can print comps from this account, but you
have to name the amount you want for what restaurant.
The method the hosts like you to use is to just
sign everything to your room. The host reviews it
while you are checking out or after you check
out. Whatever the host doesn't comp, (say room
service tips), gets charged to your credit card.
You could get screwed doing this if the host
doesn't know you and is miserly with comps. I had
this happen to me at Green Valley Ranch once and
was not comped much at all despite my level of
play. I haven't been back. Red Rock is my
favorite place to play and I never had a problem with comps there.
