I just got back to Vegas after a long trip to
(no longer) greener pastures.
I was driving up LVB and saw a dark Sahara.
Can't say I am surprised.
The place was old, tired, and managed by morons.
One of their hosts was a guy who comes straight
from the mob days and I have no doubt that in his
past he was part of it. I don't know how I know
this, but I just "know". It was just the way he
conducted himself and his pretty obvious lack of
useful gray matter. Whenever I talked to him,
he gave me the creeps. How can someone like that
have a job if not for some serious juice that is
likely tied to dubious characters.
Can't say I am sad.
They kicked me out for supposedly being "too good".
The funny thing is that by the time they did this,
the play was really marginal and I had already
shut down playing, but it did cost me some bounce
back.
Here in NV, the law says they can do this, but that
does not make it right and we all know that NV law
is anything but fair when it comes to player vs
casino issues.
I'm glad it died.
