Wow, 4000? I've only heard of those, not seen any. I did play a 9-5 DDB for quarters a few weeks ago that was about $3200. Not too shabby.

Frank, I was in Vegas recently and checked a lot of bars. Basically, they suck! Yes, I know there are promos and wheel gadgits and stuff, but what are they thinking? 7-5 BPDelux, 6-5 BP, 7-5 JoB and DDB, all seem to be the norm. Why do people play those religiously?

Here's a not-so-funny funny story. I was on the west side, scouting, and saw these banners outside a bar, it was Double Diamond Saloon or something. It was like, "HELLO, WE'RE NEW, WE HAVE VIDEO POKER, COME ON IN AND PLAY!" So I park my car, and I'm thinking maybe they'll have some decent pay tables or promos. THEY HAD SQUAT! It was awful. 6-5 Bonus Poker, get the f oudda here. I ordered a coke, drank half of it, left her a buck, and left.

But that was typical.

I stopped at Crown and Anchor, an English pub with video poker, the same kind of dismal vp, no progressives, but holy smoke the girls were beautiful. (there ya go, Frank, better check that out) I ain't kiddin, they were wearing some plaid-type skirts, very classy and attractive, and drop-dead gorgeous. But the video poker SUCKED!

I see in my mind a bright future for Las Vegas and all the bars. All the owners are going to suddenly have a light bulb go off in their head and they're all going to start dealing NSU progressives. And business is going to prosper, and Las Vegas is going to rebound because of that, with or without Celine Dion.

By the way, Frank, I stopped at Dotty's and Jackpot Joanie's. Nice setups. I'm rooting for them. Interestingly, Jackpot Joanie's shares a website with Winchell's Pubs, and I looked at every Winchell's. They all sucked. Wtf?

Here's the deal, Frank. I'm going to tell you how it HAS to be. We are all depending on you, Frank. You are going to have to single-handedly talk some sense into these business owners. It's your job now, Frank. Big shot radio show host, rubbing elbows with the rich and famous like Bob Dancer, now you are going to have to step up to the plate, Frank. You are now the PEOPLE'S VIDEO POKER GURU! We're counting on you.

best,
Bob Bartop
