I can tell you from personal experience that they have all of this info.
Their database number didn't match the number on my return. I apparently
misplaced (or never received back form the casino) 2 large W2Gs out of over 500 for
the year. It triggered an audit but they went after the whole filing not just
the gambling items. they wanted over $20,000 + interest and penalties. I won
(well not really as no one ever "wins", I just didn't lose or have to pay an
additional taxes or fees except the hourly audit rate of my CPA.
And from what I know and have heard you do NOT want to represent yourself...
