I would say a few things:
- Leave Boyd ASAP.
- If you want comped rooms etc., your going to need some slot play.
- Emerald level play, why not do CET Total Rewards? Lots of room offers, Atlantis, Monthly Show Tickets, $100 Annual Dinner, Bonus Tier Points, No Resort Fees, Diamond Lounge, etc.
- I would also consider the Stratosphere Club program and the casinos that are in its players club.
- Reno, South Lake Tahoe, Laughlin, other Nevada. Also, Biloxi and other places, USA/Canada/Caribbean.
- Use offers & status at URComped for cruises etc.
- Four Queens has always been generous to me.
- Circus-Circus if you can stand children; as they have a generous program.
- For many of you, the goal is to have fun and have some comps to subsidize your vacation. In 2018, this really will mean slot play. If not (which I have done myself) limit casino visits, to cruises on URComped and my local Miami casinos.
- Those of you in the Biloxi market: IP has been gutted (gone are weekly comped meals, room stays, etc.) so I would take my business to Treasure Bay. https://treasurebay.com/players-club/club-tier-levels/ treasurebay.comSELECT, ELITE or CLUB tier levels, Treasure Bay Casino offers a variety of perks including generous comps, point multipliers, and hotel upgrades.

slot play, would really benefit your offers and perceived value, to the

behind in the near future. The time to change is now, not later."
Be careful with this. The typical house edge on reels is probably in
the general neighborhood of 10%. Boyd's new accrual rate for tier
credits on reels, compared with the accrual rate on VP, is consistent
with this. If you've been used to playing exclusively 9/6 JOB, and are
now going to switch 30% of your action to reels, you'll be giving up
about 3.32% of your action, as opposed to 0.46% previously. That's an
expected loss more than seven times what it was before. The added free
play you'll earn will make up for only a small fraction of this. The
loss might be mitigated a bit through judicious selection of good
progressive jackpots and other good situations, but don't fool yourself
into thinking you can do so successfully on any day of your choosing.
I see no reason to think that some tiny amount of reels play, like 3% of
your action, is going to fool the system.
