You take losses in stride Bob, that is good. Minor disagreements with what you said. Being behind 12-0 early in a basketball game I believe is a big deal. Sure the Lakers could over come that deficit but they are a good favorite to lose. It's too bad you don't remember the result. I'm betting the Lakers lost. Being behind 100 credits early in a video poker session is a big deal. Again it can be over come. For the sake of argument say the standard deviation for the rest of your session is 1000 coins it is very possible for you to overcome that. If you don't selectively quit but do the logical action of quitting after a certain amount of action is given you rate to quit down 100 coins with a standard deviation of 1000 coins (I used a "break even" game as an illustrative example). I get very upset at losing and do some of the actions described in the article. My strong point however is I never chase losses or go on tilt. I am logical that way. You are right about me, I don't enjoy life very much, I guess that is why I am a gambler.
