You make an interesting point: But the device with a correct strategy will get you to a greater expected return than if you played the same hands by the seat of your pants and ran the risk of holding the wrong cards. So the device gives you an advantage that you wouldn't have had otherwise without it. That's why you're using it, isn't it?  It's essentially an insurance policy that you wouldn't have without it (emanating from an electronic/hardware device)

More importantly ask yourself this:  Isn't less of a disadvantage, an advantage?
