So many people make this mistake, speaking of "good games" rather than "good plays." Also it is a mistake to judge whether someone is doing a positive play or a negative one just by looking at what game they are playing - or by mixing up fact and opinion on Internet forums ("Casino XXX has no good VP.") Skilled/winning VP players choose a play with a combination of many factors, some – yea, most – that can not be known by another person. Base game EV + bounce-back free play + slot club benefits + promotions (like tournaments, drawings, gift cards, etc.). Brad and I do not add comps to get our total play EV, but we certainly could and many people do. ( If you get a comp for something you were going to pay for with money out of your pocket – a meal, a room, a show – that has monetary value – although you may not want to count it at 100% of its face value.)
Don't get me started on this subject – I end up writing books about it!!!!

No, we never play at the Rio and we get this brochure. I say "we" but that is not totally correct - we both got it for many months – starting coming right out of the blue, who knows why. We both play about the same at Caesars Palace only. But the last 2 months only I got it, not Brad. Have no idea why the change. We get the glad-you-hit-a-jackpot free play coupons off and on – can't figure out what generates them.
