Seems to me that there's more than enough shops in town to be able to switch to others temporarily when offers go cold at one. Being worried about what "trips" you sounds rather shortsighted to me.
Surely you are joking! Your offers are dependent on your ADT which is determined by dividing your total worth by the number of trips over a rolling time frame of 6 to 12 months. That half-price buffet (which is really what a "free" buffet is when you pay with points you can redeem for freeplay at a 2:1 ratio) might cost you several thousand dollars in future mail offers. Almost anything you do that involves a swipe of your card (Free Valet Parking, entering many Diamond or 7-Star Lounges, Comp Redemptions and Hotel Stays, Electronic Coupon Banking or Redemptions) all initiate a trip in the TR system. Cash out your points into freeplay after you finish playing for the trip and then hit your host for discretionary comps. __._,_.___
