[vpFREE] Santa Ysabel, CA tiny casino finally closes...and reminder-don't save 'TITO's...

Just a FYI to all you fans of "TITO" who may like to 'keep' a lucky ticket to use upon next visit --- DON'T. ALWAYS cash those tickets in before leaving the casino!

In fact, it might even be wise to use up comps - if you are an infrequent visitor....

Rare - but this can happen.

A casino suddenly is bankrupt and/or goes 'out of business'.

I had just by chance used a freeplay and dinner offer this past weekend (no sign that they were getting ready to fold/close their doors).

Not anything really playable, but for low-rollers, there was a subpar 8-5 DB game, with juiced progs on Aces ($80 reset) and Royal ($400 reset) and Seq RF (over $5K). Now that will never be paid off....
highly volatile game without quads, but for .25c bet, ok to play for fun (or use freeplay).

I think there was ONE good multiline machine in the bartop, but no longer have to worry about that either.

I'm glad I also decided to use up all my comps this last visit.

One never knows if a casino is not doing well and decides to close its doors....

*Side note: Are any casinos in the large LV/Laughlin/Reno area facing similar situations?

I often wonder (when I visit Laughlin) how the Regency and River Palms manage to stay in business! And in Reno - it seems like things aren't doing that well either. Circus Circus finally closed it's tiny (but fun) poker room... great memories I had there (winning the 'Biggest little poker tournament inn Reno" a few times).

MM in San Diego.
