I agree with Bob's answer but I would say that the "fixed amount" is the points required to get just the diamond card for the year, since this gets you into the diamond lounge and other perks. So the question to ask is: "what is the cheapest way to get just a diamond card at Harrahs?" This is different than say: "How do I win the most money at Harrahs?" or "How do I get the best mailers from Harrahs?" Another question to ask is at what Harrahs? I would suggest that the answer to that question is AC, which may also have the best diamond lounge, but good luck trying to get there this weekend.
