RE: Re: [vpFREE] RE: Today I was dealt a Sequential Royal Flush!

For the drawn hands this is correct, but for the dealt hands not so much so. At the minimum you need about 5 cycles to begin to talk 2sd statistics (2sd range would be about 1 to 9 hits) and the dealt royal cycle is 649,740, 5x that is a little over 3 million, that would be dealt hands. Of course you could discount this return in the short term from your calculations. It's worth 799/649740 = 0.12% . But don't forget to check the next cycle down, the straight flush, and then the quads, and so on. If you don't yet have a statistically significant number of hands for each item, you should discount its return from your calculations as well.

Very simple, play 100-play JOB at 1-cent or 5-cent denom with a decent free play offer to offset the house advantage of less than 1/2%.   The number of hands played add up very quickly to reach statistical significance.

How is it that anyone feels their playtime at video poker even approaches long term math?   (millions of trials)  I have yet to see anyone explain that on this site.
