The way I typically do the math on these is to remove the RF and SF from your EV and then calculate your expected loss from that. If you happen to hit a RF or SF in a short session you're virtually guaranteed to have a positive result. So I remove them when thinking about a comfortable loss on my way to a point target.
$10,000 coin in at 9/7 DB without a RF or SF gives an expected loss of around $313.
(Reality is you might lose $1,000 before you even get to $5k coin in. We've all had those sessions.)

Going to Laughlin on Monday, Tuesday and Wednesday- they have 9/7 DB in the
non-smoking casino at Harrah's. I'm curious- at .25 level how many points, if
played until gone, would $100 generate on average? I'm not a high roller but
I'm hoping to make 1,000 points on Monday the 29th (it is a 4 times points promo
day) to get the 1,000 Tier bonus points.
I guess another way to phrase it would be on average how much money is it going
to take to reach 1,000 tier credits on .25 9/7 DB?
I look forward to your responses (and accept the criticisms)- Thanks, Lee.
