I am not sure how many here look at this as a business. HOwever, if you withdrawal 200.00 at a fee atm and the fee is 3.50, you just lost 1.25%. 3.50 on 100, 3.5% loss, if its on a 20, hmmm, probably around 15 percent right of the bat.
Has anyone ever, just for fun, sat near the atm and looked at the faces of the gamblers withdrawing money: its a mix of enthusiastic panic and sadness.
One of the best guidelines I ever learned in gambling is to never draw money from a casino atm. It goes way beyond the fee, but the fee is taking away your return.
I bet most just gamble and don't try to make money over time.
I would look at all casino incentives, including the el cortez atm promo, as something they want you to do because they KNOW, they have tracked this, that it will results in overall more money for the casino in terms of fees or unplanned gambling losses.
Consider all casino incentives, that would cause you to vary from your system (IF you have one) as a negative especially if it causes you to not follow your rules.
Of course this will be a very unpopular post, most people want to gamble, not make money.

Not a bad idea....for the El Cortez & the Cash Advance company that
runs their ATM's. Charge outrageous fees, get gamblers to withdraw and
likely play money they didn't plan on playing, and give them some
token free play to boot.
NEVER use casino ATM's.
