Any one have any info on blackjack for $3 or less in the San Diego area casinos. As long as Blackjack pays 3 to 2 and you can reasonably double down and split it would be satisfactory (i.e, less than 1% house advantage with proper basic strategy). The idea is to have an evening of fun before or after a local casino event without risking a lot of money. By giving in your card while playing the offers you get should wipe out that 1% disadvantage. Likewise at the $3 level the value of free non alcoholic drinks also reduce the edge (I do not drink and would hope no on else who drives to the casino does either unless accompanied by a designated driver) to near nothing. A show game of 3 to 2 on blackjacks, double any first 2 cards, and split up to 4 times is adequate even if they hit soft 17. My gut feeling is that even for low level minimal play the offers you get and comps while playing kn0ock out the minor advantage to the house if you play your cards
right (pun intended).
