I didn't ask him or Joe Mag, but from news reports they left the M because it didn't perform well enough due to opening at the height of the recession, and I believe they faced a similar situation at the Hard Rock. They were, however, tagged for the new M resort because of having had huge successes in the Laughlin casinos. So if the financial climate is even a shadow of what it was when they turned the Edge & CB around, the Palms should improve dramatically.
