As we helplessly watch Sandy aim for our children and grandchildren, my husband and I are distracting ourselves with somewhat pointless debates.
Seeing the condition of Atlantic City, we are wondering about cash management in the casinos, when they close down and evacuate. He is of the opinion that their vaults are waterproof, and they leave the cash on site.
Personally, I presume more greed. I envision that they make a clean sweep and even a "coin drop" throughout the casino, and move as much as possible off site. Of course, a convoy of Brinks trucks leaving the city would certainly attract attention......
Does anyone know how this actually works?
We're keeping our east coast friends in our thoughts, and feeling grateful that we've moved away from the hurricane zone. Best of luck to all in the storm path!
