WMS used to have an online focus group for new games including vp that I was
part of.
ACBL bridge tournaments use four color designation for bidding boxes only.
(I played in a regional yesterday.)
The World Poker Tour TV broadcasts display the cards in 4 colors but
reverses clubs and spades compared to the bridge bidding boxes.
I liked the old WMS Video Poker games. (If you have Frugal Video Poker, a
base game that was included in that product is Multi-Pay Poker which was
their signature game.)
I absolutely love the 4 color idea! No excuses to mistake a suited versus
non-suited card combo!

playing in bridge tournaments, and many people are used to them from
online poker. blue diamonds and green clubs make for a lot less
squinting.
