Arrived Sunday about 4pm. Check in very busy. Had two comped nights. Asked for and got a room overlooking pool and ocean. Nice room and bathroom. Sat round pool for a couple of hours. Nice pool and hot tub.Bar and snacks available. Little on the pricey side but service excellent and food and drinks ok. After returning to room decided to eat went to Coast Brew Bar. Had crab cakes followed by for me a veggie burger and my wife a jumbo hot dog had a list of great toppings to chose from also shared portion of steak fries. Food was good quality crab cakes excellent. We had far too much and were unable to finish. definitly recommend a visit. Used our express points.
Now on to gaming. My wife tried to find to friendly slots. Having looked at VPFree2 knew the downside of the VP. Being a glutton for punishment played anyway. After about 3 hours beating we had lost our bankroll for the two days we are here. Verdict VP terrible serves me right for not heading the numbers. Slots apparently not much better. the final crunch came this morning when found the instead of 10 times points to advance tier score as in Vegas its 2 times in the Beau Rivage. Hoped to qualify for Platinum this visit. Decided if we come again will pay for room and play a lot more sparingly. The hotel is nice staff friendly, casino smokey. Going to The Grand on tuesday did well last time there VP marginly better.
